What is it?

This is a service for texting groups of people. It can send notifications or questions relevant to members of the group, and potentially gather responses from the group.

Caveat Emptor

If you do not want to receive automated text messages from this service, stop now and go surf somewhere else. Any attempt to use this system to send marketing materials or spam will be halted immediately. All texts are monitored by the server to detect and prevent misuse of the system.

Getting Started

To create a new group, enter a name for your group here. This will be used in the texts setting up each new member. For instance, when a member is invited, they can receive a text saying "You have been invitied to join mygroup please reply with "OK" if you want to join. Visit http://grtxt.net/ for more info."

Once your group is created, you can put in the phone numbers of those in your group to send them invitations. Or, you can invite them by texting them a web link.
